HSK Tests

HSK is the official test administered by the Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters to assess learners’ proficiency in Chinese language and to select participants for Conficius Institute Scholarships. The Confucius Institute at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is a test center for HSK and will hold the test twice every year. Anyone in Nebraska is welcome to register and participate in the test.

The next HSK this year will be held on March 24, 2013.  The registration deadline for the March 2013 test is February 24, 2013.

Applicants may choose the level you prefer to attend. The test fee of each level is listed below:

To register:

  1. Log on at http://www.chinesetesting.cn;
  2. Choose the test center—Confucius Institute, UNL and the test date, March 24;
  3. Fill in your personal information for registration, and submit when it is confirmed completely and correctly;
  4. Complete your registration.

 

To pay the Test Fee:

Once online registration is complete, please pay the test fee either by check or cash to Annabelle Liu or Angela Rystrom at the Confucius Institute University of Nebraska - Lincoln.  The check must be made payable to UNL-CI.


Cancellation Refunds:

If a student withdraws from the test and notifies the Confucius Institute two weeks or more prior to the test date, a full refund will be given.
If a student withdraws from the test and notifies the Confucius Institute one week before the test date, a 50% refund will be given.
If a student withdraws from the test and notifies the Confucius Institute less than one week before the test date, no refund will be given.

YCT Test

YCT is the official test administered by the Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters to encourage non-native Chinese-speaking primary and middle school students to learn Chinese. The Confucius Institute at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is a test center for YCT and holds the test twice every year. Any student in primary and middle school is welcome to register and participate in the test.

The next YCT this year will be held on March 23, 2013.

Applicants may choose any level you prefer to attend. And the test fee of each level is listed as following:
